Meethi says "bye bye" today. She has picked it from her lil computer.

It's almost 3-4 weeks that she has been walking. She has stopped walking on her all four :-(.

She was not well yesterday, she vomited last night mostly phlegm and then she slept. Took her to hospital this morning for a quick check and doc said that she is fine.

We are watching "Love and other drugs" right now.

She loves puchu's iphone and nowadays she keys in the code and gets the phone locked for 15 - 60 mins !

What ever she picks up ends up being a phone for a while.

Meethi has started walking on her own for last two weeks and her confidence has increased now. She is walking more than crawling. She has found her new independence and not to keen on holding our hand while walking. She is walking like a penguin :-) and squeals in delight.

Couple of days back we noticed that she acts on listening "Twinkle twinkle little star". She has picked up this from her nursery. She looks so cute when she does this, closing and opening her fist.

Her love for "Sheila" continues unabated and it helps us to keep her occupied and to feed her.

Meethi, this friday has got some bruises... one on the nose and the other one on the upper lip. Someone pushed her it seems.
Few days back I saw her walking with the walker in the nursery which was again a first time for me. I was so pleasantly surprised. Somehow, we are against getting her a walker at home with the thinking that she will walk when she is ready.

She is climbing the stairs so fast and this has become her sport. Rimi has booked a stair gate today.
In the afternoon, she slept for more than 3 hrs from 12 to 3 and could have continued but Rimi woke her up. Gautam da and family had come today and we went to the fair at the poole ground.

Long gap.. haven't posted for quite some time.

Meethi is doing fine apart from her usual coughing. She had a very high fever few weeks back and we had to go to hospital. Thankfully she was alright and there was nothing much to worry about.

For last few weeks she has been started standing on her own. She would hold the futon or chair or the windows and stand on her own. She is also trying to balance herself when standing on the bed. She is quite fast on her four legs and would run around in the house.

There are few things that she loves to do in the house. One is the shoe rack. She would take out the shoes or the room slippers and play with it and occasionally tasting them as well.

Her second favourite spot is the rack in the kitchen where we keep her food like the jar, biscuits, pots etc. She would take them out, play with it and spread on the kitchen floor.

Meethi is also becoming chatty and she has started responding. She would normally make sounds like..tai tai... ja ja, aije and usual squealing. Couple of days back she was arguing with Ria and Rimi took this funny video.
She loves other kids even if they are couple of years older. She get very excited watching them play and jump around.

She is enjoying mama's food like rice mixed with chicken and vegs. She loves broccoli.We have also got chawanprash for her to boost her immunity.

She is doing fine at the nursery and loves Fran.

O Joy.. watching Meethi crawl on her all 4s.... she seems to have learned this in last couple of days. She is quite quick and reaching out to shoes especially Rimi's sleepers, my X-Box games DVDs..

Meethi is very ill. She had a temperature of almost 105 F. She puked whatever she ate. We went to doc this morning and the doc gave her antibiotic. She said Meethi has chest infection and asked to come back next week for recheck. She stayed closed to mom and was very much inactive for most of the day. Both of us did not go to office today.
We gave her calpol and nurofen and when the temp is down she feels better and starts chirping in her usual way. Such a delight to see her in her normal state.

13 March 2011 @ 10 Months

Meethi is 10 months old today. She was not well today and she had some temperature when she got up in the morning.

I saw her 5 teeth today when Rimi told me. Her big one is coming from the upper and she has the middle 4 on the lower. She is still teething and constantly chewing her finger.

Her cough has not improved yet and its almost 2.5 months in Poole. She had antibiotic twice but that has not improved her cough. Her nose is not clear as well and always has the murmur sound.

She has started moving around the house. She does not crawl the usual way and it is similar to the hurdle jump pose on the floor. Very soon I have to start moving things out of her reach.

Meethi did not eat well today. In the evening, we fed her with difficulty. However, later I gave her a medicine quickly and she puked all she had in the evening. Rimi was so annoyed.. but it was my fault. She then just had 2ozs of milk.... might have to get up at night for second feed.
