Missing Mithi so much.. just watching her videos and photos, brings smiles on my face, no wonder why babies are compared to god... the age of absolute innocence, purity of heart..

waiting for both princess to return to UK... 30th Dec.. still a month to go.

Heard that Mithi has just started sitting on her own and I am very sure she is going to crawl very soon. I wish I could go to Delhi and get them back with me. Tickets are bloody costly.

Will also miss the anniversary and X-mas with my sweethearts :-(

In the evening, for the first time, we fed Meethi baby rice. It was a very small quantity, one teaspoonful with milk and Meethi finished everything. Good girl :-)

For last 3 weeks Meethi has started making noises and she herself seems to be enchanted with her own voice... .aaa....aa...e.e....aaaeeee.... she knows what she is talking or singing but we just love it.

She has been cranky during eveing time around 7.30 onwards and she would not stop crying. Day before yesterday we went to A&E but were frustrated by the waiting time and we just came back.
She has caught cold and her nose is blocked.

Mama bought pepa pig and mickey mouse as soft toy... will have to wait for her to start playing !

Thrilled to cook cheesy macaroni using sanjeevkapoor's recipe and it came out pretty good for dinner.

Nowadays Meethi is trying to get up and sit. She is able to hold up her head without support while seated. Ofcourse, she is not able to sit on her own and we have to hold her but she is enjoying the new position.
She loves being thrown up in the air gently and we love to hear her laughter. She laughs like a grown kid and we all laugh with her too.

Her apetite is increasing nicely and she drinks the cow n gate milk and easily finishes 7 oz at night.

meethi pooed yesterday and that was two in two days.. :-) we feel more relaxed than her probably :-)
she weighs almost 4.3 kgs after a month.

as a daily routine, she is now being bathed at around 8.30pm. but before that ma gives her a good massage by olive oil mixed with garlic and meethi has to be continously entertained.
her head is washed and dried first and then she enjoys the warm water in the baby tub.

My baby completes her 4 weeks. She had her first shampoo n soap bath today. We have changed her bath time. Earlier it used to be in the morning but now she have it around 8pm.

Meethi was sort of crying on her cot. I recorded her cry for couple of mins on puchus cell and then I played it back to her. To our amusement she stopped crying, she was listening to it. She was quiet giving a curious look for whole of the playback. After it ended, she again decided to be her self. It was so amusing to see her reaction.

We were so happy today that Mithi pooed after 3 days, finally :-). Vaibhav, Smita and Navya's visit I think did the trick :-).
We all went to Nando's today and Mithi was sleeping throughout in her Car seat. Ma was so thrilled to see the sea from Alum chine.

The princess has arrived and we have attained parenthood.
Rimi got her pain around midnight and baba checked her contractions. Baba asked to contact hospital and we landed there around 12am. The labor pain gradually increased and we asked for epidural but unfortunately the anesthetist was busy in theatre and we had to wait. The wait continued until 4am when the midwife said that the anesthetist was available. Got the anesthesia around 5am! After sometime the labor pain reduced and the next thing was to wait for the baby to come out.
After some blood test the delivery time was fixed around 8am. Rimi tried hard to push the baby out but was not successful. The mid-wife commented that it could be boy and thats why it is creating so much of trouble. The doctor sensing that time is running opted for forceps delivery. I was in the delivery room for the whole time but I was troubled with forceps and other stuffs and I decided to come out of the delivery suite. Baba was with Rimi. At 7.47am the doctor Ermy Kuponiyi delivered the baby and it was a GIRL. I think I was the only one expecting a baby girl. The bundle of joy appeared tiny and so vulnerable. I was so emotional.

We bought Meethi's pram/travel system today. For the first time after her birth, we all, ma baba, and us went out in the evening for a walk with the pram. The weather was very nice, temperature was around 20 deg cel with azure sky.

We took Meethi to Gautam da's place for the first time.

Meethi went with us to Castlepoint. We got the Rocker for my baby and she slept a lot in it. However, she is still to become friendly with her cot. Most of the time she is sleeping with us in the bed.
